Can I obtain the European Health Insurance Card online?

Depending on the County Health Insurance House where you are registered, the procedure for applying for the European Health Insurance Card may be slightly different.

Most health insurance houses accept the submission of documents through one of the following methods: physically, by submitting the application at the headquarters of the County Health Insurance House you belong to; by sending the documents via Romanian mail; or by transmitting the documents electronically via email.

If you are insured with CAS Bucharest, you can apply online.
