Who decides what tasks employees have to do?
The employer is the one who establishes the organization and functioning of the company and decides what each employee should do.
The employers give instructions that employees have to follow (as long as those instructions are legal) and check to make sure employees are doing their job right.
In the case of disciplinary infractions, the employer can apply appropriate sanctions.
