Is the educational diploma mandatory?

The educational diploma is necessary for employment in the position or profession for which the work permit is requested. It must be translated into Romanian and authenticated by a notary public. Diplomas, certificates, and scientific titles issued abroad within the education system must be accompanied by the recognition certificate issued by the Ministry of Education and Research, according to the provisions of the relevant legislation.
